Mon. May 19, 7:30pm: Virtual session with Anne Timberlake
Ann Timberlake, virtuoso performer and passionate teacher (see her webpage bio), will present a program on pavanes. She says: ‘Passionate Pavans‘: Among the most accessible Renaissance dances, the pavan took flight in music, transcending its stately origins to inspire passionate creativity. We’ll follow the pavan on its journey through the centuries, playing music by Susato, Download, Fauré, and more.

Jody Miller is a recognized music performer and teacher. Though his area of study was French horn, he spent much of his time playing recorder. He studied with Marion Verbruggen, Eva Legêne, Aldo Abreu, Steve Rosenberg, Tricia van Oers, and Frances Blaker. See his bio here
