Register for April Online Meeting
This one is for the birds! On Monday, April 3 at 7:30 pm, Anne Timberlake will present a program of five pieces related to birds. She says, “The recorder has long been renowned for its sweet, bird-like timbre. We’ll take full advantage of its melodious capabilities as we sample several centuries’ worth of music about birds. Tweet the old-fashioned way!” Click here to register for this exciting and informative meeting. You will receive the music and Zoom link. Come early and meet your fellow WRS members – virtual happy hour starts at 7:00pm. The meeting ends at 9:00 pm.

Register for Session with Tish Berlin
Click here to register for the next online session with Tish Berlin. It is Monday, February 6 with a Virtual Happy Hour at 7:00 pm and the teaching at 7:30 pm.
Tish will lead a class entitled: The Recorder Player’s Palette: Far More than Black and White. Using short exercises for articulation and tone, we’ll add character, dynamic contrast, and poetic inflections to our interpretations of an Arcadelt madrigal, an Encina villancico, and a Telemann duo. Learn how to make music out of notes!
